I'm free
Like a foot released from a hiking boot after hours of trail maintenance,
Like an eagle flying where it wishes,
Like autumn leaves fluttering about,
Like pollen scattered through the air,
Like the wind blowing as is chooses.
Free! With my finals completed, I'm free!
*Despite my excitement over being finished with college, I assure you, I am thankful to have had the opportunity to be a part of the 1% of the world's population who gets to go to college.
